Indian Air Force PC-7 Aircraft crashes

WEB DESK: An Indian Air Force ‘Pilatus PC-7’ trainer aircraft has crashed and been destroyed in Chingle Pattu district near Tumberm. 

According to Indian media reports, the accident occurred during a routine training flight, but the pilot was able to eject safely in time.

A video released by the Indian news agency PTI shows debris of the destroyed aircraft scattered on the ground. Subsequently, the Indian Air Force confirmed the incident, stating that an investigation has been ordered, and no casualties or material damages have been reported.

In its statement, the Indian Air Force said that the PC-7 Mark II trainer aircraft was involved in an accident during a routine training sortie earlier today near Tumberm, Chingle Pattu. The statement also mentioned that the pilot ejected safely, and no civilian property was damaged. A court of inquiry has been established to determine the cause of the crash.
