ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Army and China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) are jointly engaging in the Warrior-IX counterterrorism exercise from November 28 to December 14, 2025. This two-week training program aims to improve coordination, interoperability, and deepen military collaboration between the two nations.
On December 11, 2025, the National Counter Terrorism Center (NCTC) in Pabbi hosted the Distinguished Visitors Day (DVD) ceremony. The event was attended by His Excellency Mr. Jiang Zaidong, the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, who served as the chief guest, along with senior Chinese officials.
The Chief of General Staff of the Pakistan Army participated as the guest of honor. During the occasion, the distinguished guests were briefed on the objectives, scope, and execution of the joint drills. They observed a series of counterterrorism exercises and commended the professionalism, operational readiness, and high morale displayed by troops from both countries.
This collaborative exercise underscores the strong defense partnership between Pakistan and China and highlights their shared commitment to regional peace and stability through continued military cooperation.
