ISLAMABAD: PML-N President Nawaz Sharif convened a meeting with party officials from Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan to discuss strategies for the upcoming general elections.
During his address to the officials, Nawaz Sharif expressed his pleasure in engaging with the leadership from Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan. He emphasized his desire for the PML-N to achieve success in the elections for both regions.
He pledged that every member of the party would have a voice, and new members would be warmly welcomed into the fold.
Nawaz Sharif highlighted that the overall political atmosphere within the PML-N was excellent, expecting this to translate into favorable election outcomes. He firmly stated that party principles would not be compromised under any circumstances.
He also mentioned the significant contributions made by the PML-N in Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir.
Furthermore, he insisted that funds for these provinces should be allocated according to NFC awards and stressed the importance of ensuring those resources are utilized effectively.
