ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday participated in the 56th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, where he is set to engage in a variety of high-profile activities aimed at showcasing Pakistan’s economic potential and fostering stronger international partnerships.
The prime minister’s schedule in Davos is packed with key engagements.
He is slated to attend the Pakistan Breakfast event, where he will address participants by outlining Pakistan’s economic priorities, ongoing reform initiatives, and avenues for global collaboration, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office.
Shehbaz Sharif will also join an informal gathering of global leaders under the theme “The Importance of Dialogue in a Divided Global Landscape.” This meeting will center on promoting collaboration, bridging global divides, and encouraging constructive dialogue to tackle common challenges.
On the forum’s sidelines, the prime minister is anticipated to hold discussions with the Managing Director of a prominent international financial institution. Additionally, he will engage in multiple bilateral and informal meetings with world leaders to explore opportunities for economic cooperation, attract investment, and deliberate on regional and global issues.
