ISLAMABAD: The meeting is expected to be held on February 19 and will be chaired by US President Donald Trump. Pakistan’s delegation will be led either by the prime minister or the deputy prime minister, who will represent the country at the forum.
Sources said discussions at the meeting will center on the current situation in Gaza, with a focus on initiatives aimed at fostering peace and regional stability. Participants are also likely to explore long-term approaches and potential frameworks to address humanitarian needs, political challenges, and security issues stemming from the ongoing crisis.
Pakistan’s participation highlights its continued involvement in international diplomatic efforts related to conflict resolution and global peace. Officials believe the forum will allow Pakistan to present its stance on Gaza and contribute to collective discussions on coordinated international responses.
Details regarding the full agenda and the list of participating countries have not yet been made public. However, the meeting is being viewed as a significant opportunity for consultation on de-escalation and sustainable stability in the region. Further information about Pakistan’s representation and the outcomes of the discussions is expected closer to the meeting date.
