ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar held discussions with Indonesia’s Minister for Investment and Downstream Industry, Rosan Roeslani, in Islamabad to boost economic and investment ties between Pakistan and Indonesia.
The talks focused on strengthening trade and investment collaboration, highlighting opportunities in priority sectors like healthcare. Presentations from Pakistan’s Ministry of Finance, Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), and Board of Investment outlined the country’s investment potential and sought to benefit from Indonesia’s expertise in sovereign wealth funds and downstream industries.
Senator Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strong bilateral ties and mutual investments as critical to enhancing relations. The meeting included key officials such as Health Minister Mustafa Kamal, SAPM Tariq Bajwa, and other senior representatives, emphasizing shared efforts toward impactful partnerships.
Earlier, Senator Dar welcomed Rosan Roeslani at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for further talks on expanding economic collaboration and exchanging expertise in investment strategies.
