HYDERABAD: Australia’s renowned cricketer Glenn Maxwell has officially joined the Pakistan Super League, as Hyderabad Kings secured his services for the upcoming season.
The dynamic all-rounder, who had earlier announced his decision to step away from the Indian Premier League (IPL), has now opted to compete in PSL. Maxwell will be donning the Hyderabad Kings jersey in PSL 11.
Sharing his thoughts, Maxwell expressed enthusiasm, saying, “I’m excited to take part in the Pakistan Super League and to represent Hyderabad. I’ve always felt a warm reception from Pakistan.”
He further added, “It’s a tremendous privilege to be part of the Hyderabad squad.”
Interestingly, Maxwell had previously declined offers from the IPL, making his decision to join PSL a notable shift in his cricketing journey.
