KARACHI: Anmol, also known as Pinki, who was arrested in a drug case, underwent a medical check-up at Karachi Central Jail, which was deemed satisfactory by jail doctors.
In a telephonic conversation with Geo News, the IG Jail, Fada Hussain Mastoi, stated that Pinaki had complained of kidney pain while in jail. The jail’s doctor examined him and confirmed that his condition was stable and that he could be treated within the jail.
Responding to a question, IG Mastoi mentioned that a few days ago, a security letter was sent to S.I.U. T to transfer Pinaki for further examination. However, so far, there has been no need to transfer him to any hospital or conduct an external examination, as treatment is ongoing within the jail.
He added that if the need arises and the doctor recommends it, Pinaki will be taken for a proper medical check-up. Currently, he has not been transferred to any hospital.
