KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) closed on a positive note on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, with the KSE-100 Index rising by 421.57 points, or 0.25%, to settle at 171,021.77.
During the trading day, the index fluctuated within a range of approximately 1,607 points, reaching an intraday peak of 171,856.36 and dipping to a low of 170,248.47.
Market activity was mixed, with 221 companies gaining, 226 declining, and 41 remaining unchanged, reflecting a relatively balanced trading environment.
Total trading volume for the session was approximately 550.79 million shares, slightly lower than the previous day’s volume of 589.75 million shares. Similarly, the total traded value decreased from Rs. 31.98 billion to Rs. 27.44 billion, indicating a slowdown in trading activity despite the overall index increase.
