The suspect, Asghar Ali, was presented before the Judicial Magistrate (West), who approved his two-day physical remand and entrusted him to police custody for further investigation.

During the proceedings, authorities informed the court that the suspect’s criminal history is still undergoing verification. Police also revealed that Asghar Ali has confessed to the crime, and the murder weapon has already been recovered.
