WEB DESK: A tragic fire in a building in Lakhimpur, India, has resulted in the death of at least 15 people.
According to local media reports, the fire started in the middle section of a three-story commercial building and quickly spread to the other floors.
Authorities stated that the ground floor housed a pet shop and a veterinary clinic, while the upper floors contained a coaching center where students received training in gaming and animation software development.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. However, preliminary investigations suggest that a short circuit might have been the reason behind the blaze.
Local media reports indicate that the rescue operation continued for several hours before the fire was brought under control.
