ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have conveyed profound sorrow over the loss of lives and destruction caused by the devastating earthquakes that recently struck Venezuela.
In separate messages, both leaders offered their sincere condolences to the families of the victims and expressed sympathy with the Venezuelan government and its people as they cope with the aftermath of the disaster.
President Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz reaffirmed Pakistan’s support for Venezuela during this challenging period, emphasizing that the people of Pakistan share the pain and suffering of those affected by the tragedy.
The two leaders also prayed for the departed souls and expressed hope for the recovery of the injured and the successful continuation of relief and rescue operations in the affected regions.
