ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have jointly lauded the efforts of Pakistan’s security personnel for successfully preventing a heinous terrorist attack targeting a Pakistan Rangers Sindh camp in Karachi.
In separate statements, both leaders strongly condemned the incident, attributing the attack to the Indian-backed terrorist organization Jamaat-ul-Ahrar. They praised the Rangers’ swift and professional response, highlighting their bravery, commitment, and discipline.
The President and Prime Minister also paid tribute to the three Rangers personnel who lost their lives in the assault, emphasizing that their sacrifices will always be honored. They extended their condolences to the families of the martyrs and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
The President emphasized that terrorist groups operating with external support will never succeed in fulfilling their malicious aims.
The Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering stance in supporting the armed forces, Rangers, and law enforcement agencies in the fight against terrorism.
He assured the nation that the battle against terror will continue resolutely until complete victory is achieved.
