MUZAFFARABAD: Gunfire was reported targeting the convoy of former Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas in Tain Dhelkoat.
According to the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Azad Kashmir, Raja Akmal, citing a statement from Ilyas’s spokesperson, one of his guards was killed, and others were injured in the attack.
The DIG further stated that investigations into the incident are ongoing, and action will be taken against those taking the law into their own hands.
