In a message posted on X (formerly Twitter), the Prime Minister expressed heartfelt congratulations to Spain for their outstanding triumph in the tournament. He praised the Spanish national team for demonstrating exceptional skill, unity, discipline, and excellent teamwork throughout the competition.
The Prime Minister also congratulated the host nation, the United States, along with President Donald Trump and the American people, for their remarkable organization and successful hosting of this historic tournament.
Additionally, he lauded the governments and people of the other co-hosting countries, Canada and Mexico, for their exemplary partnership and cooperation in hosting the FIFA World Cup.
He also appreciated FIFA President Gianni Infantino and the entire FIFA team for their efforts in ensuring the successful conduct of the tournament.
The Prime Minister remarked that once again, FIFA World Cup has reminded us that sports are a universal language that transcends borders, uniting humanity and fostering mutual respect, friendship, and solidarity.
