ISLAMABAD: Iran’s Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni visited the Pakistan Monument in Islamabad on Tuesday as part of his official engagements in the capital.
He was accompanied by Pakistan’s Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry during the visit. A well-presented contingent of the Federal Constabulary offered a guard of honour to the visiting Iranian official.
During the ceremony, Momeni laid a floral wreath at the Martyrs’ Monument and prayed for those who lost their lives in service of the country. He also paid tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs.
The Iranian minister later visited Shakarparian, where he observed the scenic views of Islamabad and the Margalla Hills.
