LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced the schedule for next year’s Basant festival, promising to once again transform Lahore into a vibrant hub of culture, music, and colors. The three-day event is set to take place on March 12, 13, and 14, 2027.
In her announcement, Maryam Nawaz emphasized Lahore’s return to its traditional festive glory, with a lineup of musical, cultural, and entertainment events planned throughout the celebration. She urged the youth of Punjab and Pakistan to participate actively, urging them to come together, create lasting memories, and infuse Lahore with energy and enthusiasm.
Addressing the Pakistani diaspora and international visitors, she invited overseas Pakistanis to reunite with their homeland during these festive days, welcoming them to experience Lahore’s lively atmosphere and cultural richness once again.
