A.J.KASHMIR: The Pakistan Peoples Party’s Azad Kashmir chapter has terminated the membership of two senior leaders for allegedly breaching party discipline and disregarding party directives during the 2026 general elections.
According to a notification issued by PPP-AJK, party President Chaudhry Muhammad Yasin approved disciplinary action against Sardar Khalid Mahmood Chughtai and Sardar Majid Razaq.
Chughtai was serving as Vice President of PPP-AJK, while Razaq was a member of the party’s Central Executive Committee.
The notification said both leaders were removed from the party for acting in violation of organisational discipline and decisions during the elections.
The membership termination notification was issued by PPP-AJK Secretary General Faisal Mumtaz Rathore.
The move comes as part of the party’s disciplinary action against members accused of going against official party decisions during the electoral process.
