TEHRAN: Iran has termed Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir’s recent visit to the country highly productive, saying it yielded significant diplomatic gains.
Iranian President’s Office Deputy for Communications and Information Seyed Mehdi Tabatabaei said the visit produced “highly valuable” diplomatic outcomes, whose impact would become visible in the near future.
He described the Pakistani army chief’s visit as an important development in strengthening bilateral engagement between Pakistan and Iran, adding that the results of the discussions would soon emerge.
