ANKARA: Turkish Defence Minister Yaşar Güler met with Pakistan Army Chief and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, as part of ongoing diplomatic discussions leading up to the upcoming session of the Strategic Political and Defense Committee.
The meeting was also attended by Turkish Chief of General Staff General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu, highlighting the importance of the bilateral engagement.
These talks are part of a series of strategic discussions scheduled before the joint committee meeting under the framework of the Mecca Joint Defense Agreement, aimed at strengthening military cooperation between the two nations.
