THARPARKAR: A devastating collision between an oil tanker and a passenger coaster on Mithi-Badin Road resulted in the deaths of at least five individuals and left over 15 others critically injured, rescue authorities reported.
Emergency teams are currently transporting the victims and the deceased to Civil Hospital Mithi for treatment and recovery.
All passengers aboard the coaster were residents of Bheel Colony in Naukot. They had been traveling to Diplo and were on their return journey when the tragic incident took place.
Rescue officials confirmed that women and children were among those on the coaster, highlighting the tragic loss of life across different age groups. An investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
