Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that the government is actively working to empower Pakistan’s youth by offering training in information technology, artificial intelligence, and other contemporary skills.
He shared these comments during separate meetings in New York with Pakistani community leaders and young Pakistanis living abroad. Shehbaz Sharif reiterated that programs such as providing laptops, scholarships to talented students, and ensuring equal educational opportunities through Daanish Schools—initiatives he launched as Punjab’s Chief Minister—are ongoing at the national level now that he is in office.
The Prime Minister also announced the upcoming establishment of a state-of-the-art Daanish University. He expressed pride in talented Pakistani youth abroad, viewing them as an asset to the nation and believing that the youth hold the key to shaping Pakistan’s future.
During the meetings, young Pakistanis expressed their appreciation for the government’s efforts, especially in advancing information technology and improving the business environment, which they see as vital for the country’s progress.
