LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced plans to establish stroke centres in every division of the province.
At a meeting in Lahore, officials told the chief minister that 40 primary stroke centres are already operating across Punjab, with 17 more expected to become functional by December.
Officials also said the CM Stroke Program had helped save the lives of 336 patients.
