RAWALPINDI: A special medical team from the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) visited Adiala Jail on Saturday to examine Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, jail sources said.
The team comprised PIMS doctors Muhammad Ali and Muhammad Arif, accompanied by paramedical staff.
According to jail sources, both Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi underwent separate medical examinations, follow-up check-ups and necessary diagnostic tests.
During the visit, the two also met briefly and inquired about each other’s health.
After completing the examinations and medical procedures, the PIMS team left the jail premises.
Sources further said that Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi were later moved to their respective separate blocks.
