LAHORE: Umar Sheikh has been removed with immediate effect as the Lahore Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) after increase in crime rate in the provincial capital.
According to details, Ghulam Mehmood Dogar has been appointed as the new Lahore CCPO after being interviewed at the Chief Minister’s Office.
Dogar earlier served as Faisalabad RPO and Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Technical Procurement.
Former Lahore CCPO Umar SheikH has been appointed as Deputy Commandant of the Punjab Constabulary, Farooqabad against a vacant post.
