Islamabad: Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) justice (retd) Javed Iqbal has given an advise to those who criticize the anti-corruption body to review the performance and the NAB ordnance.
In his statement on Sunday, the NAB Chairman said that the NAB has submitted 790 billion rupees since its inception while the sugar and flour scandal will be forwarded to logical ends.
Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal said that the graft-buster body has solid evidences against the big names involved in deceiving the masses on the large scale, assets made on illegal sources, illegal use of powers , fake accounts, money laundering, flour and sugar scandal.
He said that the respect and credibility of the body increased multiple times due to indiscriminate and clear actions against the big names adding that the NAB has filled as many as 1269 corruption cases.
The NAB has submitted as many as 487 billion rupees directly and indirectly in the national exchequer in the last three years which is a record success, he added.
The Chairman said that the body is a people friendly institution adding that reputed national and international institutions have applauded the performance of the body.
The Anti-corruption body submitted Rs 790 in the national exchequer adding that the NAB has faith of a corruption free Pakistan, he said.
