LAHORE: Opposition leader Hamza Shahbaz has said that this budget is not a bundle of lies. The salary of a laborer has been fixed at Rs 20,000. How can he live in such high prices?
Talking to media outside the Punjab Assembly after the budget session, Hamza Shahbaz lashed out at the Punjab government. He said that the price of electricity was increased by Rs 28 in one year. How can the industry develop in such an expensive electricity. The PML-N had given up 12,000 megawatts of electricity but today in a city like Lahore load shedding is taking place for hours.
Regarding the budget allocated for the education sector, the Leader of the Opposition in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz said that the current government could not move forward in the education sector. His government had left Rs 18 billion for higher education while the present government has allocated Rs 15 billion in the budget.
