Speaking on the occasion, Senator Azam Swati accused Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) of taking money during the polls and making fun of the Parliament adding that such institution be set on fire.
Meanwhile, government representatives and ECP members staged walkout from the meeting in protest.
The standing committee on parliamentary affairs rejected use Electronic Machines for next general election in the absence of representatives of ECP and government members.
On the other hand, Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja has expressed resentment over the allegation and summoned a key session on Monday to discuss this matter.
Sources told that special secretary ECP Zafar Iqbal will brief the members.
