Karachi: Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) Chief Syed Mustafa Kamal has apprised his reservations on local bodies law approved by the Sindh Assembly in his meeting with provincial minister for local bodies Nasir Hussain Shah.
The Sindh government has geared up its arm to establish consensus on the local bodies law recently passed by the Sindh Assembly as provincial minister for local bodies started contacting the opposition parties.
Nasir Hussain Shah in his bid to establish consensus on the local body reached PSP headquarter with a delegation and called on its leadership.
Talking to media the PSP chief Syed Mustafa Kamal said that the reason to gather on ethnicity these days are more than the 40 years back adding that the PPP has ensured to solve the PSP demands.
The PSP chief said that the police didn’t handle Tando Allah Yar incident in a right manner and after this incident providing an opportunity to lot of people to do politics of ethnicity.
The former mayor of Karachi said that the PPP has to see the incident of Tando Allay Yar with seriousness.
Talking on the occasion, Nasir Hussain Shah said that the PPP doesn’t believe in politics of ethnicity. He said that the provincial government has tried to make local bodies laws improved and we are ready to hold local bodies election.
He said that we have to control the situation of the province that’s why we called on Jamat Islami (JI) leadership and now we have approached the PSP leadership.
Administrator Karachi Murtaza Wahab, PSP President Aneez Qaimkhani, Arshad Vohra and others were also present during the meet-up.
