Islamabad: Commenting on the current political situation, Federal Minister for planning and development and special initiatives Asad Umar said that we wanted to have democratic system in the country.
The Minister Asad Umar in his statement on Monday said that as much the democracy will be out of influence of forbidden wealth it will be more powerful.
Asad Umar said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has highlighted the people opinion effectively.
The Minister said that an environment has built up in the country where everyone is against the unconstitutional step.
He said that we went to the Supreme Court (SC) for interpretation of the article 63 (A) of the constitution just for the democracy.
Condemning horse trading and floor crossing, Asad Umar said that take vote on the name of someone and then sell it to another to receive forbidden money and after some months spending of the forbidden money return to power again.
He said that we didn’t need to complete the numbers game adding that the opposition needed to complete 172 numbers.
He said that the day the opposition complete 172 votes we will accept it.
