KARACHI: The rupees depreciated by Rs18.89 against the US dollar today during intra-day trade in the interbank market.
The dollar price increased ahead of the monetary policy review and delay in the International Monetary Fund (IMF) deal,
The greenback was being traded at Rs285 against the local currency at around 11:36am.
It had closed at Rs266.11 a day earlier.

On the other hand dollar appreciated by Rs 17 in the open market. While the Dollar is being sold in the open market by Rs 291.
