Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz ( PML-N) Senior president Maryam Nawaz has demanded resignation of Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandiyal.
Chief organizer of the party Maryam Nawaz while demanding resignation said that wrong use of authority has created revolt like situation in the Supreme Court (SC).
She claimed that Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandiyal violated the constitution and law in the favour of Imran Khan. She said that renowned judges have raised grave questions on behavior and prejudice of the CJ.
The daughter of three-time premier Nawaz Sharif, said that no allegations of misconduct of such nature leveled on any chief justice so far. She claimed that the CJ inclination towards PTI is clear.
She demanded that the CJ should tender resignation.
