Karachi: Continuing criticism on ruling Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Jamat-e-Islami (JI) ameer Karachi Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman has said that the PPP wanted results of its choice in the elections of Karachi mayor but we will not leave PPP unchecked.
Addressing a presser at Idara-Norehaq, JI Karachi ameer said that if results of local bodies elections were changed then we will fight along with masses.
Taking about digital census, Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman said that just one million people increased in the extension of dateline for 15 days in the census process.
He said that street crimes have increased too much and until what time our mother and sisters will rob of from their valuables adding that we wanted peace at all cost in the megacity.
The JI Karachi chief condemned arrests of leaders, activists and workers of a political party after May 9 mayhem while he said that the arrest of political people is not right.
Regarding K-electric, he demanded cancellation of K-electric license immediately and hand over to other company.
