ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court (Practice and Procedure Bill 2023) is scheduled for a hearing in the Supreme Court, as announced on Monday.
An eight-member larger bench, headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial, will preside over the case on June 1. In preparation for the hearing, the Supreme Court has issued notices to the concerned parties. Notably, the case was adjourned for three weeks on May 8.
Meanwhile, the government has taken a significant step towards implementing the Supreme Court Review of Judgments and Orders Act 2023. A gazette notification has been issued, marking the official commencement of the Act.
