Islamabad: The mission chief of the the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Nathan Porter has said that Pak-IMF program not ended now adding that he is constantly in touch with Pakistani officials.
The IMF mission chief said that he is trying efforts to hold board meeting in June while the focus will be on the budget in negotiations with Pakistan.
Nathan Porter said that an uptick in tax-net and decreasing of losses of national companies are very important.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has directed Federal Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar to make the upcoming budget in coordination with the Internatioanl Monetary Fund (IMF).
The premier has also sought help from the internatioanl lender to complete 9the review.
On the other hand, Pakistan has shared the budget suggestions with the IMF.
