Rawalpindi: British Chief of General Staff (COGS) Sir Patrick Nicholas Yardly Monard on Wednesday called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Syed Asim Munir.
The meeting between the two military officers was held at General Headquarter in Rawalpindi.
The British COGS discussed matter of mutual interests and regional security in the meeting.

Sir Patrick Nicholas Yardly Monard recognized Pakistan sacrifices and success against war on terror and its efforts for bringing peace and stability in the region.
Before this the British General paid visit martyrs monument while smartly tuned out contingents presented him salute.
