Islamabad: Acting President Sadiq Sanjrani has issued judges salaries order 2023 today.
Under the order the basisc salaries of judges of top court has been increased by 20 percent.
As per the order of the President the salary of Chief Justice of Supreme Court of Pakistan after an increase of Rs 2, 14, 865 will now be Rs 12, 29,189 per month.
A judge of SC salary has been fixed at Rs 11, 61,163 earlier it was fixed at Rs 9, 67, 636. As per the president order 2023, SC judge salary has been increased by Rs 1, 93, 527.
The basic salaries of Judges of high courts have also increased by 20 percent.
As per the order the salary of Chief Justice of high court Rs 11, 39 251, while salary of judge of high court has been fixed at Rs 10, 95, 434.
