Rawalpindi: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Syed Asim Muneer two-day visit to Iran has successfully concluded, Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) reported.
The media wing of Pakistan Army (ISPR) apprised that Army chief during the visit called on Iran’s military officials while it is agreed in the meetings that terrorism usually for region and specially danger for both the countries.

The COAS also met with Iran’s Chief of General Staff Maj General Muhammad Baghiri. The two leaders agreed to work together for eradication of terrorism, the ISPR said.
The ISPR apprised that both the sides agreed for an impressive assistance to eradicate terrorists in border areas.

The ISPR added that the two countries also agreed to promote cooperation for actions against terrorist network.
The Army Chief also held meetings with Iranian President and Foreign Minister wherein they discussed matters of mutual relations, regional peace and stability.
