Islamabad: Interim Federal Minister for energy Muhammad Ali has apprised that tackling challenges faced by energy sector is his first priority.
The Interim Federal Minister said this while visiting his ministry petroleum division after taking charge of the ministry today.
The Interim Minister energy said that the energy sector is like jugular vein in the development of the country.
Muhammad Ali said that all the resources will be used to decrease burden on the people of the country.
Earlier, The energy minister received comprehensive detailed briefing on the ministry’s institutions and responsibility by the ministry officials.

The Minister also presided a meeting on audit of the energy sector, circular debt resolution and future road map.
The ministry officials also briefed the Minister over existing reservoirs of oil and gas, supply chain and projection.
The meeting held detailed discussions on the ministry ongoing projects, future strategy.
On arrival to the ministry, the Minister welcomed by additional secretary Ibrar Ahmed Mirza and staff of the ministry.
