Karachi: An First Information Report (FIR) has been lodged in the complaint of state of the fire at multistorey shopping mall at Rashid Minhas Road on Sunday.
The FIR of fire in the RJ Mall has been registered in Shahra-e-Faisal Police Station.
The case has been lodged against K-electric, Fire Brigade and other institutions while sections of negligence, to inflict harm and without intention murder have been included in the FIR.
As per the registered case, it is doubt that a short circut resluted into fire, there were no exit gate, fire extinguishers in the building.
The map or site plan of the building was passed illegally. As per the content of the FIR the substandard material were used in the construction of the building. The K-electric and Fire-Brigade despited faulty material issued the NOC.
The K-electric, fire-brigade and other institution committed criminal negligence.
It is pertinent to mention here that owing to the fire in the multistory shopping mall claimed lives of 11 people and several others injured.
