Islamabad: Another resolution has been submitted in the upper house of the parliament today for postponement of the upcoming general elections.
The resolution was submitted in the senate secretariat on Sunday.
An independent parliamentary group headed by senator Hilal Ur Rehman submitted the resolution.
The law and order situation of Khyber Pakhtun Khawa has been cited as the reason of the postponement of the general elections, the content of the resolution reads.
It is also cited that terrorists attacks on contesting candidates are feard.
It is pertinent to mention here that it is the third resolution submitted in the senate for delaying the general elections.
