Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has strongly rejected allegations of Commissioner Rawalpindi Liaqut Ali Chatha regarding rigging in the general elections.
In its reaction over the presser of the Commissioner Rawalpindi division, the ECP has refuted all the allegations and said that the Chief Election Commissioner or any office bearer of the ECP has not issued any instructions to the Commissioner Rawalpindi for changing the results.
The ECP adds that any commissioner of the division not a District Returning Officer (DRO)), Returning Officer (RO) or presiding officer.

The election body will conduct an inquiry of the matter as soon as possible.
