RAWALPINDI: A Prisoner was killed by a Prisoner in the high security zone of Adiala Jail, two prisoner injured.
According to the Jail authorities, the incident took place in cell number 8 of mental patients, prisoner Ahsan scratched a brick from the wall with a water mug and attacked other mentally ill prisoners.
Jail authorities said that the sleeping prisoner were injured in the attack of the prisoner, among the injured prisoners were Ijaz Rabbani, Shiraz and Hammad Ali.
According to the jail authorities, all the injured prisoners were shifted to Pims Hospital, where the injured Ejaz died in the hospital.
Jail officials has said that IG prisons has ordered an inquiry into the incident, DIG Jail Rawalpindi is investigating the incident
