Web Desk: Eid-ul-Fitr, one of the biggest festivals for Muslim pilgrims, is being celebrated on Wednesday (April 10) in different countries of the world, including the Middle Eastern country of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Indonesia in Southeast Asia, depending on the moon sighting for the Arabic month of Shawwal.
The faithful of these countries offer Eid prayers with great enthusiasm.
Meanwhile, besides Saudi Arabia-UAE, Eid is being celebrated today in the rest of the Middle East countries including Malaysia, Qatar, Egypt, Kuwait, Bahrain, Yemen, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, and Palestine.
Oman, Muslims in North Africa including Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Libya, and Sudan are also celebrating Eid today.
Australia is the first in the world to announce this year’s Eid-ul-Fitr. Muslims in the country are celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr on Wednesday.
The US, UK, Canada, Turkey, and Iran are also celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr on Wednesday. Eid will be on Wednesday in other countries in Europe and America.
