Karachi: Preparations ready to fall electricity on the consumers of Karachi as the K-electric has requested hike in the electricity prices under the fuel adjustment charges for nine months all together.
The National Electric Price Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) will hold hearing on the K-electric demand tomorrow, Thursday.
The NEPRA today uptick electricity prices by Rs 2.83 per unit under the fuel adjustment charges all across the country except the K-electric consumers.
The NEPRA also issued a notification of the hike in the electricity prices.
The increase will burden masses upto Rs 26 billions. The electricity hike will be applicable from the current month.
The NEPRA has increased the prices in the fuel adjustment charges of March.
