Karachi: The home ministry Sindh has imposed ban on various clerics speech for ensuring law and order situation in the province.
Inspector General (IG) Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon has written a letter to the home ministry recommending that 143 clerics provocative speeches are risky for law and orders situation in 13 districts of the province henceforth impose ban on these clerics.
The home ministry has issued notification regarding ban on clerics on the recommendation of the IG Sindh.
As per the notification 163 clerics are banned for delivering speeches and traveling in the 13 districts of Sindh for hiatus of 60 days which will be applicable immediately.
