Islamabad/Karachi/Lahore: Pakistan Flour Mills Association (PFMA) on Thursday started strike across the country against imposition of with-holding tax in the budget 2024-2025.
The PFMA has shut down crushing of the wheat while the flour mills have stopped supply around the country including Karachi.
A leader of flour mills association Amir Abdullah has said that we will stop supply till our demands are fullfiled.
The flour mills association like other cities of the country also stopped supply of flour in Multan.
The FMA strike is continued in Multan as well while the owners of flour mills have announced shutting down of flour mills untill their demands are met.
Similarly, the strike on a call of PFMA is continued against with-holding tax in Balochistan as well.
The PFMA leaders said that the government has imposed a heavy cruel tax on people of doing business of the flour.
