KARACHI: Another case of Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) has been reported in Karachi, the patient is currently under treatment at Jinnah Hospital.
According to hospital authorities, a 33-year-old man was brought in with symptoms of fever, bleeding from the gums, and nosebleeds. His PCR test results came back positive for CCHF.
The patient has been moved to the isolation ward at Jinnah Hospital. He is a resident of Bhains Colony and works as a hairdresser.
Health department officials stated that after Eid-ul-Adha, two individuals in Karachi have died from CCHF.
