PESHAWAR: The president of Awami National Party Aimal Wali has announced to support ban on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
In a press conference alongside Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi, Aimal Wali, a senior leader of the Awami National Party (ANP), expressed his full support for the ban on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Aimal Wali labeled PTI as a “non-political party” that promotes violence, emphasizing that the actions of the party, particularly during the incidents of May 9 and November 24, provided strong justification for the proposed ban.
Wali further stated that the imposition of Governor’s Rule was not the ultimate solution to the ongoing political issues in the country. He clarified that any decision to implement such a measure would need to be made by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, following consultations with relevant stakeholders. It reflects the ANP’s stance that while measures like the Governor’s Rule are considered, they are not seen as the final resolution to the complex political situation.
