Sukkur: Chief Minister Sindh on Tuesday has said that Sindh government is determined to provide conducive environment of education for students of the province.
The CM Sindh was addressing at the Aror University Of Art, Architecture, Design & Heritage Rohri.a ceremony in Sukkur.
Syed Murad Ali Shah said that the establishment of Aror University was a dream two and half years earlier.
Today , this dream is changing into reality with fast pace, he said.
He added that in a brief time the Aror University has become embodiment of education standards and creative expressing with the partnership with the international institutions.
Sindh CM Syed Murad Ali Shah launched Bhutto Scholarship Program at Oxford University.
He announced that 6 scholarships (3 for boys under Shaheed ZAB’s name & 3 for girls under Shaheed BB’s name.
He urged that students to must secure admission.
Moreover he also announced that AI students at Aror University will get laptops.
The CM inaugurates boys and girls hostel, auditorium, art gallery and wax museum.
He also inspected art exhibition while students briefed the CM about the art work. The CM Sindh briefed that artificial intelligence (AI), fashion design, environmental sciences including 14 degree programs are continued at the university.
He was also briefed that the Aror university has four central faculties in which 825 students are receiving education.
The university several departments are under construction strethed on 60 acres of land of the university, the CM briefed.
According to the PC one of 2023 the university has a target of completing till 2026.
Earlier, on the CM arrival the University vice-chancellor Professor Zahid Khand, Chairman Higher Education Commission (HEC) Sindh, Professor Tariq Rafi, Secretary HEC Moeen Siddique were welcome him.
The CM Sindh were accompanied by MNA Khursheed Shah, Speaker Sindh Assembly Owais Shah, provincial ministers Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Ali Hassan Zardari, Mukesh Chawla, home minister Zia Ul Hassan Lanjar, Zulfiqar Shah,
Besides that special assistant Qasim Naveed, Inspector General (IG) Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon, mayor Sukkur Arsalan Sheikh, chairman district council Komail Shah were also present.
